We Are FR Engineers

Advanced, custom engineering

Our engineering starts at the molecular level inside the fiber and ends with rigorous internal, independent and real-world testing that goes well beyond minimums required by the industry standards. This is not the typical out-of-the-box technology. We use custom-designed equipment, computerized monitoring and proprietary steps at every stage. The result? Total control, unparalleled quality, and fabric guaranteed flame resistant for the life of the garment. That means safer workers and outstanding value.

What is “market-proven”?

Most manufacturers say they “meet industry standards,” but those standards are just minimum bars. Standards are intended to be inclusive; they won’t tell you much about how fabric holds up over time, or under different conditions in the real world. As a result, over-reliance on “compliance” may put workers at risk. We do much more than simply meet minimum standards to perform well in a single lab test. Our FR fabrics are designed and manufactured to perform under harsh conditions without sacrificing the comfort of cotton.

When we say “market-proven,” we mean a fabric that has proven itself over years of actual work, in multiple repurchase cycles. If something fails, shrinks badly, or is a poor value, it won’t be purchased again. On the other hand, market-proven means it’s worn by tens of thousands of workers at hundreds of companies, in multiple industries over many years. And when it’s time to be replaced, those companies purchase it again and again…THAT is market-proven.
